Type Locality and Naming
The type section is located at Xiaolangfengguan, about 5 km south by west of Ziyun County Seat, Guizhou. It was named by Lu Zhongming et al. in 1989.
Synonym: Nandan Fm.
Lithology and Thickness
Limestone and Chert. Gray-black and dark-gray moderately thick-bedded limestone, chert band- and chert nodule-bearing limestones, intercalated with light-gray bioclastic limestone, calcirudite, dolomitic limestone and minor thin-bedded chert. Thickness 250−650 m.
